Does anyone (this is mostly for, but not restricted to, any Portuguese readers) reading this know of a Portuguese-language equivalent of PRWeb, a site to which you can (by paying some amount of money) send a press release, which is then picked by many news sites and aggregators?

Nopes, but that’s a good question.
Due to the ammount of press releases Destakes recieves, I thought of creation a section for that porpuse.
Nop… I found http://www.webitpr.com/ recently. But so far I haven’t it’s portuguese equivalent.
When it comes to public relations, Brazil is one step ahead of us. Maybe there’s a brasilian press release distribution service we don’t know about.
