My 9th blog: The Music in my Life!
From the “About” page:
I believe the title gives one a good hint that it’s about music.

However, “music” in what way? Well, it won’t be a “music reviews” site. There are already thousands of those.
In it, instead, I will tell stories about how a particular band or album came into my life. What I thought about it then, and how I feel about it now. What I’m listening to at a particular time. What an album means to me. And any music that enters my life, as that (life) should always be a learning experience, and discovering new music, new bands, new experiences, new emotions, is always a pleasure to me.
Hope you enjoy it… not a lot of posts yet, but look how quickly the last one grew…

Ok, dude, I understand you have a lot of interests in life, but don’t you think people will start suspecting all you want is the ad-revenue?
9 blogs? I envy your ability to keep those alive… I do. I can’t even keep one alive, let alone nine! But make me understand why you need 9 blogs instead of putting those posts in different categories. Isn’t that what categories are for?
(And just so you know, this is not a personal attack, I actually want to understand what drives you. Seriously.)
Hey, no problem. Sure, I do want the ad revenue. But I also enjoy writing, and like to blog.
Why not have just one blog? Because I, myself, wouldn’t enjoy periodically visiting a blog where I’d have to ignore 50%, or 89%, of its posts, as would happen if I had all of them put together. Just because you like, say, computer games, it doesn’t mean you also like heavy metal, or are interested in blogging, or technology, or philosophy, or my personal life. Categories help, but only a little. Not to mention the fact that I have blogs in two different languages.
I have lots of regular visitors and feed subscribers because people can be sure that virtually all the posts are about one single subject, which is of interest to them.
From a more practical angle, having a blog focused on a single theme helps it a lot in terms of search engine optimization and ad relevancy.
9 blogs isn’t that much - any full-time blogger usually has many more.
Finally, look at any of them and tell me if they are (to someone who’s interested in the subject) interesting or useful… or if they look just “made for AdSense”.
