You’ve probably heard them already, if you’re even slightly interested in Macs. But I don’t want to be the only tech blog in the world not to mention it at least in passing, so… Apple have announced new Macs (including a notebook), all of them, for the first time, using Intel processors.
For instance, this notebook actually looks quite nice:
But… am I the only guy in the world to whom $2000 is a lot of money? Not for this particular model, but for any notebook? Or am I simply too cheap?

You are simply too cheap! (So am I, no worries. The PowerPC Powerbook is hands down the best laptop in the world, and I have gone through a lot of them. To have a powerbook 4 times faster than the predecessor, is mind-blowing!)
