First update to WordPress 2.0

I’ve just updated my personal blog from WordPress 1.5.2 to 2.0. Everything went smoothly – I didn’t even have to disable the active plugins before updating, which they say you should do (I guess they want to be conservative and eliminate possible points of failure, which is a good idea).

I chose that blog because it’s the one with least active plugins.

The interface certainly looks a lot nicer. It also has a WYSIWYG editor, which I think I’ll probably disable, but I’ll play with it for a while first. It’ll certainly be useful for less technical bloggers, though.

I’ll try to update the other blogs later today, or tomorrow. I’ll post here when this very one is using 2.0.
