You’re welcome. “Too ad-centric”, to me, means that the site has more ads than content, which is certainly a bad idea.

Having at least one of the ads at the top, however, is helpful. Remember that a lot of people don’t scroll down. It’s stupid, but it’s true.

Thanks for the advice, my worry with moving more adds to the top is that it would make my site look too ad-centric. But maybe it’s time that I play with my current layout.

selsine: have you customized the products / types of products list in the javascript? It may not be obvious that you need to do so. You should think about what your readers may be interested in - which may not necessarily be what your blog is about.

Besides (free advice! :)), you might be more successful if you move your ad nearer the top.

I’ve been testing the eMiniMalls on my blog, and I haven’t noticed much of a difference. Who knows, maybe I need to change their layout or something.
