Useless (but cute) Firefox Extension: CuteMenus
Link: CuteMenus Crystal SVG
As you can see from the image, it adds nice color icons to the Firefox menus. Useless… but many people care a lot about how “nice” their software looks, so you may be able to show off your browser and make other people green with envy. Or something.

IMHO it increases the usability of (any) software. Having something to recognize in a Menu entry, like those icons, makes it easier, again IMHO, to navigate.
Until I read your post I never noticed that basically all of the menu items in Firefox lack icons, now that I noticed it I think I want to install this pluging…in fact I just did.
Thanks for the info.
You’re welcome.
And yes, the icons can actually make the menus more user friendly…
so my extensions useless huh? 50,000 users say otherwise…
Oops. I didn’t mean to insult your extension in any way. I called it “useless” because it’s cosmetic. It makes the browser more pleasant and the options easier to spot, so in that way it’s not “useless” at all – I’m using it both on Linux and Windows.
Sorry about the misunderstanding.
na thats ok i know what you mean hehe, its because it has no real functions. but it does make menu navigation faster! cheers for mentioning it anyway…
