I've been using Sharp Reader, but I'm checking out Google Reader now. Some people don't like it, but I do so far.

I've been on the hunt for an rss reader, and i didn't set out to find an online solution only.. i was open to both online and offline. A couple of weeks ago, after trying and dismissing Google Desktop, i came across Searchfox. It's still in beta, but you can request a beta tester account.

I like it due to its simplicity and speed. It's way faster than bloglines, visually more appealing and i like the ajax-y bits. Not overdone, but straight to the point. They also analyse the feeds you read and make suggestions of new feeds that might interest, though the engine is being perfected.

So if i had to recommend any, it would be SearchFox. Although, i bet feedlounge will kick the competitions butt in no time. We just have to wait untill they launch.

I personally use SharpReader. It's nice and has a very uncluttered, streamlined appearence. Very simple to use!

Competition is needed. Bloglines isn't innovating nor introducing new features for a while now.
They even haven't introduced support for Atom 1.0. In this item Google Reader wins.
